Nineteen Months
Nineteen months - so much fun. So walking is down pat - he's running now! And language - wow! He is saying so much more. We started to let him watch Sesame Street (attention: this is crack!) He loves all the characters - ELMO! ABBY! And then today he just starts saying "Ewnnnie, Bewt" and pointing at them. He had totally figured out their names just by watching a few clips. And of course Cookie - he loves Cookie Monster.

He has started using more and more sentences like "I want Cookie," or "I see keys" (which means "I would like to see them - HAND EM OVER!") I just figured out what his sentences were this weekend because they sound like "awan cookie!" so I didn't realise he was saying "I want" (or maybe he's just saying want, who knows.)
He understands a lot more too - I can tell him where we're going, even "bargain" a bit. I love that!

Oh, one of his most often used words is "MINE!" "My phone." "My keys!" Or when you try to cross the street holding is hand he yanks at his arm yelling "MY! MY! MY!" as if you were planning to take his hand right off (tho sometimes you have to hold it pretty tight, so it might feel like that). I notice he's using it more when we won't let him do things, like play at the door for hours (he loves to open it). "My door" he cries! "Yes," I tell him. "Your door. It's yours." (But we're done playing with it!!!)
