Some of you may have noticed that the comments have remained rather static lately. Unbeknownst to me there was an Error 404 whenever someone tried to comment. A reader recently informed me of this fact, and I spent 40 minutes tonight tinkering with Movable Type and I think it's now resolved. Been a long time since I did any think "behind the scenes" on a website, but I think it should be okay now.
Like everything else, having a toddler who is starting to use lots of words has some awesome advantages and some slight disadvantages.
Plus: When we ask, "Who loves you?" and he answers "Mummmmmy!" with great enthusiasm.
Minus: When he's crying and yells "Mummmmy, Daddddy, Mummmy, Dadddddy." Well let's just say it makes bedtime a lot more emotionally draining on those nights when he's resisting sleep.
Plus: He can tell us what he wants!
Minus: He does, constantly - the other day he stood at the cupboard yelling "Cookie! Cookie! Cookie!" as my friend's child ate an organic banana. Or throughout dinner he stares at our laptops and repeats "Elmo, elmo, elmo! Abby!!! Elmo, elmo, elmo. Abbbbbby!" So much for quality family time!
